Hi, we are Phillip and Amanda and would like to welcome you to Lilling Green Farm Cattery. We are passionate about all animals. Phillip comes from a farming background and although his profession is in the construction industry, we also have a smallholding with cattle, sheep, pigs and chickens which is his first love. Amanda is a keen equestrian with many years experience. We have our own dogs and two resident cats, Peppa and Julian who are very spoilt! We are fully licensed, approved by Ryedale District Council with a 5 star rating (Licence No: 19/00065/ABOARC), fully insured with Petplan and qualified with FAB Cat Care Management Course. Amanda is also a qualified and registered AMTRA SQP and will be looking to licence the premises in the future so that she will be able to offer prescription wormers and flea treatments on site should you require any products and advice on worming and flea treatments. Look out for our new on site shop which we are planning to open in the near future offering small animal feed and products also our own fresh free range farm eggs. Lilling Green Farm Cattery continues to evolve and we are passionate about its future and continue to strive to do better and believe that there is always room for improvement and would welcome any feedback you may have. Our rooms
Our rooms
All our units are spacious and every attention to details has been made to ensure your special friend is comfortable and happy. Scratching posts, and separate levels are available to encourage play and relieve boredom. Open and enclosed sleeping areas in each unit for cats who are reserved or more outgoing. All units have interesting views of the gardens and countryside and underfloor heating throughout to ensure your cat is warm and comfortable no matter what the weather. We also have four extra large family rooms which comfortably cater for up to four cats sharing from the same home.

We provide only the best Vetbed hypoallergenic bedding, however please feel free to bring your own cats beds should you wish and recommend that you bring a clean (although not newly washed) blanket, towels and/or toy that smells of your home to help your cat settle in. We strongly advise that you travel your cat in their own secure carrying box to ensure a safer journey, we are more than happy to store your carry case here awaiting your return.

Meal times
We cater for all your cats individual tastes and requirements. We only use the best quality wet and dry foods, and are stored and prepared in our own hygienic kitchen. Special diets are also catered for and endeavour to provide these at no extra costs if possible. Prescri ​ption diets can also be maintained but please provide this for your cats stay with us. We also provide as a special treat freshly cooked food such as chicken, tuna, crab sticks, prawns or white fish with each meal. All cats are fed twice daily, senior cats and kittens are fed according to their requirements.
Health

We are unable to accept any cat that is looking like it is suffering from any infectious or contagious disease. We will examine all cats on arrival and reserve the right to refuse admission pending further advice from a veterinary surgeon. We hope that all owners respect this in order to ensure the health and wellbeing of all our cats boarding with us.
Diabetic cats are more than welcome to stay with us as we are fully trained to admini ​ster insulin and monitor your cats health whilst they are with us. We can also continue to medicate your cat should they have prescription during their stay.
ALL cats are required to be vaccinated against 'Feline Infectious Enteritis' and 'Upper Respiratory Tract Infections (cat flu).
Leukaemia vaccination is recommended but not compulsory requirement for your cats stay with us. Owners must provide an up to date vaccination certificate on arrival which will be retained by us during your cats stay.
Unfortunately we can not board male cats over the age of 6 months which have not been neutered as they potentially present an infection hazard.
